ARMED SITE OFFICER NEEDED
Metro Protection Services is seeking skilled, professional Armed Patrol Officers to join our elite team serving the Medford, OR area. POSITION SUMMARY
Metro Protection Services is seeking professional, reliable, and highly motivated Armed Site & Event Security Officers to join our growing team in Medford, Oregon. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at designated client sites and special events, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide armed security services at assigned sites and special events
- Monitor premises through patrols, observation, and surveillance systems
- Enforce client policies, procedures, and applicable laws
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a calm and professional manner
- Complete accurate and detailed reports, logs, and incident documentation
- Control access points and verify credentials as required
- De-escalate conflicts and manage disturbances appropriately
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Oregon Armed Security Officer certification (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Own gear to include duty belt, vest, OC spray, taser, firearm
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to move and/or lift at least 30 lbs
- Strong vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus)
- Ability to safely use restraints during apprehension when necessary
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Exposure to stressful or emergency situations
- Varying outdoor conditions including heat and cold
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, listening
