Each project is tailored to the unique needs of its clients while seeking to embody the richer, more humanistic sides of contemporary architectural design.
Responsibilities
· Development of construction documents at all stages of project execution
· Construction administration and site supervision
· Planning and management of project schedules
· Coordination of design consultants
· Writing reports
· Representing the atelier by building strong relationships with clients and contractors
· Working with local authorities to obtain approvals and permits (CCU, etc.)
· Leading internal project teams
Strengths
· Ability to work independently with proven project management skills
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Creative and collaborative
· Ability to work on several projects simultaneously while coordinating with team members
· Knowledge of technical aspects of architecture and a keen attention to detail.
Requirements
· Member of the Order of Architects of Quebec (OAQ)
· 5+ years experience in an architecture office in Canada
· In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Revit (preferred)
· Familiarity with the Québec Construction Code, regulations in Montreal, and planning bylaws
· Fully bilingual (French and English)
· Valid driver’s license
Job Details
· Full-time, 35-40 hours per week
· Competitive salary based on candidate’s skills and experience (to be negotiated)
· Professional fees (OAQ) paid for by the atelier
· Flexible working hours, in office and remotely
