Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Appliance Installer to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and troubleshooting a wide range of household appliances at customer locations. Your expertise will ensure that each appliance is set up correctly, functioning efficiently, and meets customer expectations. Duties
- Safely deliver appliances to customer homes using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring timely arrivals and proper handling of all equipment.
- Install various appliances such as Subzero refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ect. according to manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Conduct thorough inspections of appliances post-installation to verify proper operation and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to facilitate accurate installation and repair processes.
- Perform minor repairs, assembly, or adjustments on appliances and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate clearly with customers about the operation and maintenance of their appliances, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and service calls for reporting and quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to appliances.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and assembly.
- Delivery driver experience working with box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, or related equipment enhances your suitability for this role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues efficiently.

Pay: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour
