Performance Analytics Intern (12 Months)
BMW Group Canada is offering a well‑rounded internship focused on realizing data‑based sales performance across Canada. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of sales, marketing, business development, and IT experts, working collaboratively to improve performance and innovate within a traditional automotive OEM.
Responsibilities
- Support the setup of KPI‑oriented, data‑based reports and analyses for management, while enhancing digital transformation.
- Process raw data into output formats for reporting.
- Create data visualizations.
- Drive automation of reports and ensure accurate data availability in dashboards.
- Collaborate within the network using agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Support analysis of industry trends, market potential, and competition.
- Assist the team on the bonus program to ensure monthly reports are published to retailers on time.
- Support retailer system projects and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or IT; analytics and/or BI working experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Qlik Sight is an asset.
- Coding experience in data processing, aggregation, and database management is an asset.
- Analytical thinking and basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization.
- Fast learner, inclined to work with data analytics software.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Openness, motivation, and hands‑on mentality.
Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $47,000 – $49,000, with variations based on factors such as experience, education, and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
