Amica Jubilee House seeks a Medication Care Partner for regular part-time hours, specifically from Friday to Monday. This role involves not only administering medications but also engaging with residents on a personal level, promoting their overall well-being. You will be part of a transformative care model that emphasizes personalized interactions and meaningful connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage medications for residents
• Create rapport with residents and their families
• Involve residents in daily activities and dining experiences
• Provide assistance with light housekeeping tasks
• Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment
Requirements:
• Graduate from a Personal Support Worker program or similar
• Certification in Medication Administration required
• Committed to learning and applying new skills
• Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Hold a valid First Aid and CPR/AED certification
