YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Distribution and Planning Manager, the Allocation Analyst will be responsible for the inventory management which includes: allocation of inventory, analysis of results and store to store transfers for the GLOBO stores. This individual will work closely with the Buying, Sales and Ops team and Purchase Oder Management departments to ensure that stores have an optimal product assortment to maximize sales and reduce cost.
Responsibilities
Allocate new orders of merchandise to a chain of stores following best business practices
Prepare and analyze inventory reports and communicate appropriate actions to interdisciplinary teams
Analyze sale trends and make recommendations for repeat orders to recommend repeat orders
Liaise with stores in Quebec and Ontario to resolve any inventory issues
Enter data and ensure its integrity into the merchandising system
Recommend prices, markdowns at the product and store level
DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
College or Bachelor Degree in Fashion or Commerce
1-2 years of retail experience, an asset
Familiar with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs formulas on Excel
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Strong time management and project management skills to support multiple clients and ensure delivery of high-quality work with tight deadlines
Detail-oriented, organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at a time
Excellent communication skills in French and English, written and spoken
Knowledge of different software is an asset (SAP)
Strong communication skills and open mind to constructive feedback
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with immediate team and interdisciplinary teams
Flexible, adaptable and responsive when quick turnarounds are required
