Airport Contract Services Clerk

As a key administrative partner, you’ll support critical contract, procurement, and coordination activities that keep services moving.
About the job
In this dynamic role, you will:
- provide administrative, financial and material control for Remote Airport Offices.
- coordinate procurement processes (i.e. gather/enter data, complete paperwork, verify information, etc.).
- prepare and maintain tender and contract files and track warranties.
- organize, maintain and update electronic and hardcopy filing systems.
- compile reports, conduct research, respond to various requests for information.
- provide day-to-day support such as answering phones, arranging meetings, purchasing supplies.
- oversee and provide staff travel and accommodation for staff and vendors.
What you bring to the team
Technical Knowledge and Skills
You have:
- knowledge of administrative and financial processes and procedures such as payment processing and expenditure control.
- knowledge of procurement, contract and tendering policies and procedures.
- attention to detail and interpretation skills to research financial and contract related inquiries.
- knowledge of computer software and various programs to deliver administrative and financial requirements.
Organizational, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
You can:
- resolve issues, conduct research and respond to a variety of transactions.
- track warranty timelines and contractor information.
- determine priorities when handling multiple competing tasks.
- exercise judgement to escalate unusual/complex matters.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
You can:
- respond to financial and contract administration related inquiries.
- prepare responses for information and financial requests.
- exercise tact and diplomacy to work harmoniously with staff, vendors and other business stakeholders.
Computer Skills:
- You are proficient with computers and various software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic financial information systems and statistical reports
Mathematical skills:
- You have mathematical skills to verify budgets and invoices for accuracy.
