Join a dedicated team as an Adult Respiratory Therapist, providing round-the-clock support across critical care units. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and support in high-stakes environments.
Working under the Manager of Respiratory Therapy, you’ll deliver essential respiratory services in Intensive Care Units, Trauma Rooms, and the Emergency Department. Your responsibilities will include airway management procedures and participation in trauma and emergency response teams, while also supervising the development of student therapists assigned to your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee ventilation management and weaning protocols
• Engage in emergency response as a Code Team member
• Perform intubations and tracheostomy tube insertions
• Ensure delivery of respiratory care wherever necessary
• Mentor and assess students under Clinical Coordinator’s guidance
Requirements:
• Must be registered with CRTO in Ontario
• Degree or diploma from an accredited program is essential
• Current BCLS certification required
• Experience in Acute Care and Critical Care settings
• Excellent attendance and demonstrated clinical skills
