The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship is accountable for integrated land and natural resource management, including objective setting for land and marine environments, effectively managing cumulative effects, and advancing reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, environmental sustainability, and economic growth.
The Collaborative Stewardship and Cumulative Effects Management Branch provides leadership and support to the Collaborative Indigenous Stewardship Forums underway across the province under the Collaborative Indigenous Stewardship Framework (CISF), including regional operational implementation of Guardians and field-based monitoring.
The Program Coordinator provides direction and expertise on financial and administrative accountabilities and manages branch operating processes. Job Requirements:
Diploma or degree in business administration, public administration, financial management, communications or a related field and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience; OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience must include:
Experience in office management.
Experience in financial management and administration.
Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience managing contracts and/or funding agreements according to government policies and procedures.
Experience providing project management and coordination services for projects.
