The Administrator Accounts Receivable – Cash App (3-Month Contract) will be playing a major role in applying and posting payments to customer accounts daily.

Responsibilities:

Apply and post payments to customer accounts on daily basis from various sources such as EFT/ACH/Wire, credit & debit card payments and unapplied cash.

Ensuring KPI’s are met.

Investigate and resolve misapplied cash transactions.

Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and perform root cause analysis.

Perform related administrative duties.

Prepare and create AR refunds, and other adjusting journal entries as required.

Initiate professional contact with internal customer service representatives and external customers as needed to obtain remittance advice and support other AR initiatives.

Assist with month end close & daily deposit reconciliation to the bank.

Assist with managing Cash application email inbox by managing cash application inquiries from both internal and external customers.

Documentation of processes and desktop instructions.

Other duties/projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Post-secondary

education

in Accounting/Business Administration.

Preferred 8+ years’ work experience in accounting functions (AP/AR/Billings/GL/Cash applications)

Preferred 5+ years’ experience in Cash Application Proficiency in MS Office Suites (Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

Working knowledge of various accounting ERP systems, Workday experience considered an asset.

Thorough understanding of general accounting principles and accounting impacts of transactions.

Good analytical

Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Enrollment in the CPA program and French language is considered an asset.
