We are looking to hire aCasual Administrative Services Assistantfor Invermere Mental Health Centre, located in Invermere, BC. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team! This position will support the operation of Invermere Mental Health and Substance Use Services.

When scheduled this position works Monday to Friday, Days from 8:30 to 16:30.

Days off: Sun, Sat, STAT

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 – 37.5 hours per week. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.

What Will You Work On?

In this role you will perform a variety of reception, administrative and Health Unite Aide support duties including:

Data entry including gathering, organizing, collecting, collating and verifying information, typing correspondence

Preparing presentations, arranging meetings, transcribing minutes, booking travel, and record management

Scheduling and confirming client appointments as well as receiving, recording and checking balances of cash transactions

Maintaining and cleaning medical/surgical supplies, equipment and HCIS resource material

Cleaning, setting up and dismantling rooms, cleaning/sanitizing toys and equipment

Weighing and measuring babies, calibrating equipment, vision screenings

What should your application include?

A current supervised 5 minute Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within past 24 months from a recognized institution;

A Medical Office Assistant Certificate;

A current valid BC Driver’s License;
