Location:The successful candidate should be based in Southwestern Ontario with an ability to travel
This position is a hybrid role
You will support the General Manager Crop Input & Seeds and his team in the development of the function. You will develop relevant communication tools and maintain positive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support credibility and ensure smooth integration of the function.
TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Planning & Analysis (50%)
Develop a central repository (system, structure, and platform) to ensure easy access to documentation associated with the team;
Be involved in the definition and harmonization of policies, key indicators, and procedures for the function at the company level;
Participate in compliance with standards, controls, policies, procedures, and performance indicators;
Develop relevant performance reports (added value, product quality, delivery time, etc.);
Support the implementation of the execution of the team’s strategic planning;
Act as a collaborator and change agent in different projects in support of different teams.
Administrative Management (50%)
Proactively ensure the completion of administrative tasks, i.e. ensure the administrative management of current projects including the production of documents and presentations, and deliverables;
Proactively support the General Manager in the management of his/her agenda, carry out calendar planning, management meetings, administrative procedures, and monitoring of deliverables;
Organize the calendar and activities of the general manager and the management committee;
Support offsite meeting plans and execution;
Support the overall business unit objections;
Act as a key point of contact for Crop Input and Seeds business unit;
Any other task related to achieving the team’s objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
College or university diploma in a relevant field;
A minimum of have 5 years’ experience in a relevant field;
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite and other IT tools;
Keen sense of organization and the ability to manage several files simultaneously;
Strong sense of organization and initiative, intellectual curiosity, dynamism as well as proactive autonomy;
