Responsibilities: The Administrative Coordinator is part of the Kindred Spirit team and is able to identify opportunities and solutions to improve the administrative efficiency of the YWCA Prince Albert Kindred Spirit Program in a confidential, professional environment. Liaise between Kindred Spirit Manager/Supervisor, Finance, Human Resources and the CEO to ensure information is relayed in a smooth, accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
Experience is human services, supported housing, or with persons with disabilities/addictions;
Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture;
Driver’s license; Vehicle;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Computer skills;
Must pass Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check;
Ability to work independently;
Excellent time management skills;
Computer and office administration duties;
Remuneration: $56, 244 Annually

Basic Duties:
Demonstrate leadership in all areas, including confidentiality, positive work environment, conflict resolution and upholding policies;
Maintain written and computerized records, compile records, and complete other program documents (including case notes, statistics, letters, etc.);
Be available for “on call” schedule;
Uphold and maintain policies and procedures for Kindred Spirit;
·Daily coordination with Supervisor and liaison for information sharing with staff members;
·Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management, to ensure the effective operation of Kindred Spirit;
Specific Program Responsibilities:
1. Office Reception
Receive and process all incoming phone calls through a combination of: call forwarding, written messages, and provision of all information;
·Receive and enter all client appointments into appointment book;
·Dispatch all client pickups as they are received to appropriate staff including our transportation coordinator;
·Liaison with partner agencies, including booking appointments for clients, and documenting pertinent information;
2. Administration
Client File Management including updating, file storage, access, and confidentiality;
Ensure all client files have up to date Release of Information (updated once per year);
Ensure all pertinent documents are filed in a timely manner;
Data entry of Master Client List, collection of rent and power payments, completion of logging of rent and power collection, including list of rental arrears;
Medication administration, building tours and staff introductions;
Probation: All YWCA Prince Albert Management positions contain a six-month probation period.
