We are now looking for a Licensed Administrative Assistant to

The Licensed Administrative Assistant works very closely with the advisor(s) preparing files, joining the client meetings, and doing all resulting processing of business.

Who you areYou have your mutual funds license either from IFIC and/or CSC course completion and/or you have a few years’ experience working with mutual funds.

ability.

What you will be doing

Provide day to day support to clients, answer questions, communicate pending status, involving advisor when required

New account openings, transfers, trades, purchases, redemptions, switches etc. with direction from the advisor

Follow-up on investment transactions and outstanding requirements with clients, dealer and external venders.

Client meeting preparation including statements, investment summaries and any outstanding documents/service work required

Attending client meetings with the advisor, take compliant notes to send meeting summary to the client

Meet regularly with the advisor to review outstanding activity and upcoming appointments

Following up on next steps and outstanding service work and booking follow up meetings Provide para-planner services such as gather and input client data into

retirement planning

software; prepare potential solutions and develop and present the financial plan with the advisor

Ensure all compliance requirements are adhered to Support other Team Members when required What you bring

· Mutual Fund license or experience working with mutual funds (one of these is required initially – If IFIC or CSC is not now held, one will need to be acquired within 6 months)

· Experience with Financial Planning software (an asset)

· Organizational excellence, time management and

communication skills

· Ability to work well independently but also be a strong results oriented team player

· Strong sense of urgency

· Excellent verbal and written skills

· Proficiency in word, excel and power point

· Industry compliance knowledge (an asset)

· Excellent technology skills

· Experience with Salesforce or other contact management system (preferred) Compensation Compensation will be between $24 and $27 per hour depending on experience and licensing.
