Work Location:Hybrid (a combination of in-office and remote work)
Salary:$57,509.15 per annum
Responsibilities:
As recorded in the Collective Agreement with MoveUP Together (COPE Local 378), the responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Performing routine word processing, with the aid of existing templates, routine reports, correspondence, memoranda and standard office forms
Responding to routine registrant enquiries (in-person, by telephone and/or by e-mail); refers more complex enquiries as directed
Creating, processes and maintains a variety of files, records, spreadsheet and related materials following BCCNM policies and procedures
Performing various office functions such as sorting, filing, and retrieving files, and documents, photocopying and assembling documents, and creating various forms
Performing basic and complex data entry for processing material such as registrant applications
Performing other clerical and data-processing functions
Education and Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will:
Have a secondary school diploma
Ability to type at least 50 wpm
Demonstrate intermediate skills in standard office software applications, in particular, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio)
Ability to exercise some degree of independence of judgment and action
Ability to organize own work and establish priorities without continuous supervision
Ability to follow procedures, practices and directions as related to the duties of the job
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize own work without continuous supervision
Effective communication skills with the ability to work and interact cooperatively and collaboratively with others in the team and the public
Maintain confidentiality and discretion of information received while performing regular work functions
