RVA is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing support for day-to-day operations to the HR & Payroll team in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of administrative experience who brings strong organizational skills, discretion and a collaborative mindset. This position requires a regular in-office presence of four (4) days per week to enhance collaboration and meet operational requirements.

Duties

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation
  • Assist with payroll-related tasks such as timesheets and employee updates
  • Help coordinate recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, and employee files
  • Respond to employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate contact
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and HR-related activities
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, and document management
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of administrative experience; HR or payroll exposure is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS or payroll system experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position is: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
