Position Information

The Ontario Lung Screening Program’s (OLSP) Administrative Assistant 1 is responsible for performing a full range of clerical and administrative support services, supporting the OLSP clinical team to assess, triage and schedule participants for this regional screening program. . Responsibilities include data entry, preparing and filing of correspondence, scheduling of appointments, answering and/or redirecting of incoming communication, message taking, , record keeping in Epic and other relevant programs, faxing.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
Post-Secondary Diploma in a Secretarial Program or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Two (2) years related clerical experience;
Intermediate Word;
Intermediate Excel;
Computer literacy;
Attention to detail;
Tact, judgment, and initiative;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Eligible to work in Canada;
Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Epic;
Experience with pre-hospital health care, documentation and data management.
