Fairleigh Dickinson University is the largest private not-for-profit university in the State of New Jersey (USA), enrolling approximately 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students across more than 100 degree programs, ranging from the Associate of Arts to the Doctor of Philosophy. Course Description:
All businesses operate within a legal environment. LAW 2276 provides an introduction to common legal issues faced by businesses and is designed to familiarize students with both foundational legal concepts and specific laws that regulate and affect business activity. Topics include ethical constraints on business, as well as basic principles of contract and tort law. The course emphasizes that a working understanding of law is an important component of business strategy, and not merely a matter of compliance.
