Join a dedicated team as an Addictions Counsellor focusing on case management and comprehensive client care. You will facilitate individual, family, and group counselling to support clients in their recovery journey.
As an Addictions Counsellor, you will coordinate case management and implement tailored programs for each client.
Your role includes performing intakes, developing treatment plans, and conducting biopsychosocial assessments. Daily counselling will adapt to each client’s unique needs while providing vital support and education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct all client intake processes and assessments
• Meet residents within 24 hours for rapport-building
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments
• Provide ongoing evaluations of client progress
• Offer individual, family, and group counselling services
Requirements:
• Degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work
• 1-3 years of experience in Addiction Counselling
• Certification in MI & DBT Training (or working towards)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to undergo Criminal Record Check
