Cassiah’s Dance Company is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Acro Instructor to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 dance season.
We are seeking an instructor who is passionate about developing strong, confident athletes while creating a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities and is committed to helping dancers reach their full potential.
Position Details
- Part-time position (1 or more evenings per week)
- September 2026 – June 2027

About Cassiah’s Dance Company
Located in Leamington, Ontario, Cassiah’s Dance Company is an award-winning studio dedicated to providing high-quality dance education in a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Our mission is to inspire confidence, encourage personal growth, and help every dancer discover their full potential while fostering a lifelong love of dance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate Acro classes for students ages 3–18.
- Teach proper Acro technique with a strong emphasis on safety, correct progressions, and injury prevention.
- Instruct flexibility, strength, balance, conditioning, and tumbling skills appropriate to each dancer’s level.
- Create a positive, motivating, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the studio director and faculty to support student development.
- Attend studio meetings, rehearsals, performances, and special events as required.
- Communicate professionally with families and studio staff.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience teaching Acro and/or Tumbling to children and youth.
- Strong knowledge of safe Acro progressions and proper spotting techniques.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for mentoring young dancers.
- The ability to inspire confidence while maintaining high technical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Acrobatic Arts Certification (or equivalent) is considered an asset.
- Background in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, or Acro.
- First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset.
- Experience working with both recreational and competitive dancers is preferred.
