About the role
Cosmo5 is looking for an Account Manager to join a major strategic media account in the Canadian financial services space, while also supporting a portfolio of lifestyle-focused brands and services.
This role is ideal for someone who is strong with clients, highly organized, and comfortable working across paid media, project coordination, reporting, and day-to-day campaign delivery.
You will work closely with the Account Director, media operations specialists, channel leads, data teams, and project leads to keep the account moving smoothly. You will help manage timelines, briefs, campaign updates, meeting follow-ups, reporting inputs, and client communication across a complex, fast-moving account.
What you’ll do
- Support day-to-day client communication and account coordination.
- Help translate client requests into clear tasks, briefs, timelines, and next steps.
- Coordinate work across paid search, paid social, programmatic, data, reporting, and media operations teams.
- Prepare meeting agendas, status updates, recaps, action items, and follow-ups.
- Track deadlines, approvals, blockers, campaign launches, and reporting needs.
- Support campaign planning, QA coordination, performance reviews, and monthly reporting.
- Keep project management tools updated with clear ownership, timing, and status.
- Help identify risks, missing information, and process issues before they slow the team down.
- Support the Account Director in keeping the client informed, organized, and confident.
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of agency, media, account management, or digital marketing experience.
- Good understanding of paid media channels, including search, social, and/or programmatic.
- Experience coordinating complex work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage timelines, meeting notes, project updates, and client requests with accuracy.
- Comfortable working in tools like Jira, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Asana, Wrike, or similar.
- Ability to stay calm, clear, and proactive in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with financial services, B2B, regulated industries, offline/traditional media, or multi-agency accounts is a strong asset.
- Successful candidates may be required to complete background check, due diligence, and onboarding requirements in accordance with client requirements and applicable law.
