As a result of continued growth, we are looking for an Account Manager for the Protective Linings Division.

Account Manager

Position Summary:

The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for designated customer accounts, responsible for maintaining strong relationships, addressing customer needs, and driving revenue growth. This role involves understanding customer objectives, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of products. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional

communication skills

, a strategic mindset, and a proactive approach to account management.

Expectation to travel to current and new customers within North America to win business (35%-50% of your time). Valid Passport and driver’s license required.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.

Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and requests.

Understand customer goals and objectives to effectively address their needs.

Account Growth:

Identify opportunities for account expansion and

upselling

additional products or services.

Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for revenue growth.

Regularly review account performance and identify areas for improvement.

Project Coordination

:

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products to customers.

Communicate customer requirements and expectations internally, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.

Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays proactively.

Customer Satisfaction

:

Conduct regular check-ins with the customer to gather feedback and assess satisfaction levels.

Address any concerns or issues raised by clients promptly and effectively.

Strive to exceed client expectations and maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Strategic Planning

:

Develop strategic account plans to achieve long-term objectives and revenue targets.

Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and threats.

Collaborate with customers to support joint business plans and strategic initiatives.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular reports on account performance, including revenue forecasts, sales metrics, and client feedback.

Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Use insights to develop actionable recommendations for optimizing account strategies.

Ensure ISO 9001 conformance and Polycorp’s Quality Management Systems Experience and

Education:

Post Secondary

education

, Chemistry and or Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in a related industry.
