The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.
Responsibilities
- Managing and growing business with existing customers in the assigned sales territory
- Identifying, developing and winning new opportunities within target segments and product areas
- Providing accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Closely manage receivables and inventories according to company policies and agreed commercial terms with customers for the assigned territory
- Leading customer negotiations with support of cross functional team and leadership
- Providing regular weekly, monthly or other assigned reports as requested
- Representing Evertis at trade shows and industry events
- Presenting at internal and external meetings
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and process owners
- Position requires frequent travel
Deliverables
- Meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual sales budget and receivables targets
- Building high quality, mutually beneficial relationships with customers in defined end use segments
- Developing strategic account plans with differentiated value propositions
- Winning new business through successful executing of account plans
Qualifications
- Education – Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of sales experience in packaging, food manufacturing or related industries
- Strong track record of delivering growth for the business through new and existing customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Must be able to travel frequently, legally operate a vehicle and utilize public transportation such as airplanes, trains or taxis etc.
- Strong preference for candidates with proficiency in both English and French.
