Summary
The successful candidate will be a salesperson responsible for developing and maintaining advertising agency/client relationships and will create and sell integrated sales proposals using appropriate research data. This person will work on a large variety of national accounts within Bell Media’s English & French Conventional and Specialty Television properties as well as Radio and OOH where applicable.The successful candidate will be a confident salesperson responsible for developing and maintaining advertising agency/client relationships and will create and sell integrated sales proposals using appropriate research data. Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop and maintain advertising agency and direct client contacts
Provide exceptional customer service by proactively building and managing client relationships
Liaise effectively with all sales support functions, including: Traffic, Research, Programming, Marketing, and Revenue Management
Participate in industry and community activities related to the position
Critical Qualifications
3-5 years total selling experience in a National Sales environment
Strong presentation and negotiating skills combined with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure of deadlines and last minutes revisions
A highly developed client service focus and proven ability with the national advertising community
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Practical computer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with IBMS
A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized post secondary institution
Experience working in Bell Media
