Accessibility Equipment Installer Jobs in Surrey at Next Day Access
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Installer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can think independently to problem-solve on site, and values making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Our company specializes in accessibility solutions, helping clients maintain safety and independence in their homes throughout the Lower Mainland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install grab bars, porch lifts, aluminum ramps, stairlifts, bath safety products, custom handrails, and other accessibility equipment
- Assess on-site conditions and independently problem-solve installation challenges
- Provide professional, respectful, and empathetic customer service while interacting with clients in their homes
- Maintain warehouse organization, inventory, and job supplies
- Load/unload materials and ensure vehicles are properly stocked
- Complete required paperwork and job documentation
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (Can be trained)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and patience when working with seniors and individuals with mobility challenges
- Physically capable of lifting and handling equipment
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- No experience necessary
