We are currently seeking a passionate and compassionate ABA Therapist / Behaviour Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as an Independent Contractor.
At Find Your Strength Therapy and Wellness, we believe in providing collaborative, client-centred, and neurodiversity-affirming care to children, youth, adults, and families across Ontario. We are looking for a clinician who values relationship-based support, emotional wellbeing, and individualized care while helping clients build confidence, independence, and emotional regulation skills.
Position: ABA Therapist / Behaviour Therapist (Independent Contractor)
Location: In-Person and/or Virtual Opportunities Available
Population: Children & Youth (with opportunities to expand services)
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing individualized behaviour support services for children and youth
- Supporting emotional regulation, social skills, routines, transitions, adaptive functioning, and behavioural goals
- Collaborating with families, schools, and multidisciplinary team members
- Creating and implementing individualized support plans
- Providing parent coaching and caregiver support when appropriate
- Maintaining clinical documentation and professional standards
Qualifications:
- Certification or experience in ABA/Behaviour Therapy
- BCBA, RBA (Ont.), or related credentials considered an asset
- Experience supporting autistic children and youth and/or individuals with ADHD and emotional regulation difficulties
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting
- Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practices
