Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed 313D Residential Air Conditioning Mechanic and G2 Gas Technician with a minimum of 5 years of residential installation experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and commissioning residential HVAC equipment while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Install residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, tankless water heaters, and gas piping.
- Perform equipment change-outs and retrofit installations.
- Complete equipment startups and commissioning.
- Ensure all installations meet TSSA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
- Troubleshoot installation-related issues when required.
- Maintain accurate job documentation.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and job sites clean and organized.
- Represent Bracken Heating & Cooling professionally at all times.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Ontario 313D Residential Air Conditioning Mechanic License.
- Valid G2 Gas Technician License.
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
