2024 Fair Washroom Facility Attendants & Day Sweepers
Fair Washroom Facility Attendant: $17.75/hour (plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation) – Must be 19 years of age or older by August 1, 2024
Fair Day Sweeper: $17.40/hour (plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation) – Must be 15 years of age or older by August 1, 2024
Dates: The PNE Fair runs from Saturday, August 17 – Monday, September 2
Hours: The PNE Fair is open from 11AM – 11PM
Availability Requirements: Must be available for up to full-time hours (40 hours per week) including evenings, weekends, and late nights from August 17 – September 2.

What will you do this year?
In your role as a washroom facility attendant & day sweeper, your primary accountabilities will be to:
Ensure that the assigned washrooms are maintained in a clean and tidy fashion at all times during the Fair.
Ensure that assigned areas of the buildings and/or grounds are maintained in a clean and debris free manner at all times.
Provide exceptional and friendly guest service.
Ensure PNE Uniform and Appearance policy is adhered to at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What else?
Must have successfully completed Grade 11.
Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
Must be able to arrange an effective work schedule under minimum supervision.
Must have sufficient physical strength, stamina, and coordination to permit the performance of assigned tasks.
Must be capable of reading, writing, and speaking in English for the purposes of written or oral instructions.
